Day 1. Paro / Thimpu
Arrive
Paro and travel by road to Thimpu. Visit the Memorial Chorten.
Accommodation at PEACEFUL HOTEL or DRUK HOTEL. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 2.
Thimpu
This
morning, visit the School of Arts & Crafts, National Library, Folk
Heritage Museum and Institute of Traditional Medicine. Afternoon
visits to the Paper Factory and Handicraft Emporium. (B,L,D)
Day 3.
Thimpu / Punakha
Drive
through Dochula Pass with views of the Himalayan Ranges enroute to
Punakha. On arrival, visit Punakha Dzong, one of the most
spectacular in the country. Overnight at HOTEL ZANGTOPELRI or
MERIPHUENSEUM RESORT. (B,L,D)
Day 4. Punakha/Thimpu
Morning
visits to the Crown Prince's Monastery, Temple of the Devine mad Man
and Wangdu Dzong. Later, travel to Thimpu for overnight.
Accommodations at PEACEFUL HOTEL or DRUK HOTEL. (B,L,D)
Day 5.
Thimpu/Paro
Morning
drive to Paro and visit the National Museum, Rinpung Dzong and Para
Town. Accommodation at HOTEL OLATHANG OR MANDALLA RESORT. (B,L,D)
Day 6. Paro
Sightseeing today includes visits to the Ruins of Drugyel Dzong,
Kyichu Lhakhang, Ta Dzong and the National Museum housed in an
ancient watchtower. (B,L,D)
Day 7. Depart Paro
Transfer
to the airport for your departure flight onward. (B)
